Editorial Independence
Editorial Independence and Commercial Separation
Learn how Inside China Works separates editorial content, paid research, advertising and sponsored content.
Public editorial content
Supplier Profiles, product pages, guides, tools, methodology pages and public examples are produced under the site’s source and editorial rules.
Paid research and services
Clients pay for project-specific research, information structuring, writing or review. Payment does not purchase Supplier Profile inclusion, favourable public wording, higher natural placement, removal of different public records, verification or recommendation labels.
Advertising and sponsored content
If advertising, sponsorship or paid placement is offered in the future, it must be clearly labelled and visually separated from editorial content.
Service clients and public profiles
Purchasing a research, content or review service does not affect Supplier Profile selection, wording, source choice, information status or alphabetical display order.
Buyer research clients
Buyer RFQs, quotations and private research files do not become public content without explicit permission.
Corrections are not paid services
Companies may submit factual corrections and public sources without purchasing a service.
Principle
Commercial relationships do not determine editorial conclusions.
