What to include in a supplier enquiry
You do not need a complete technical specification before contacting a supplier. Start with the information below, then use supplier replies to refine the full RFQ.

- Voltage, frequency and plug type

Required quotation details
Ask the supplier to list these separately:
- unit price, Incoterms® rule and named port or place;
- MOQ and how it is calculated;
- sample cost and sample lead time;
- packaging and logo costs;
- tooling or setup charges;
- production lead time;
- payment terms;
- available technical documents and their exact model scope;
- items not included in the quotation.
For sales into the EU, Great Britain or the United States, compliance duties differ by product and market. A supplier's test report or CE logo alone is not a blanket approval. For US imports subject to CPSC certification, applicable certificate data must be filed electronically under the eFiling requirements effective 8 July 2026.
