Research Services

Focused research for a specific sourcing question

Research Services are for questions that involve your own supplier, quotation, RFQ, sample record or document. The work is scoped around a defined decision or information gap—not a general promise to source products from China.

Focused service options

Supplier Public-Source Brief

A structured review of public information relating to one supplier or a small number of connected entities, focused on identity, websites, brands, product evidence, public statements, different records and information gaps.

RFQ and Quote Review

Review a draft RFQ, identify missing or ambiguous fields, or organise supplier quotations into a more consistent comparison structure.

Focused China Sourcing Research

Public-source research for another clearly defined China sourcing question, such as a company and brand relationship, a bounded comparison of public information across named supplier candidates or a product-specific information problem. The service does not rank, recommend or select suppliers.

Starting information

The starting information depends on the project and may include company names, links, product requirements, RFQs, quotations and the decision the buyer is preparing to make.

Method and boundaries

Research records confirmed information, supplier statements, document evidence and unresolved questions separately.

The services do not include supplier verification, factory audits, product inspections, laboratory testing, certification approval or verification, legal or financial due diligence, supplier recommendations, negotiation, order placement or guaranteed sourcing results.
