Learn how Inside China Works reviews sources, presents company information, handles conflicting records and uses AI with human review.
Public editorial source type
Different sources serve different purposes. Repeated information across several platforms does not automatically represent several independent confirmations.
Client-provided files are not a public editorial source type. They may be used in paid project work, but they do not become public Supplier Profile evidence automatically. A public page may use independently citable public sources, or clearly labelled company-submitted information handled under the correction policy when publication is appropriate and authorised.

These labels are non-exclusive and may be combined for the same field.

Order-specific confirmation
Public information may describe a company or product generally, but the buyer still needs direct confirmation of the contracting entity, payment recipient, manufacturing site, exact model, market version, certificate scope, commercial terms and production controls for a specific order.
Source selection and priority
- Use official exchange or NEEQ pages for current securities status.
- Use official registry or formal filings for legal-entity facts where available.
- Use company-published pages to attribute what the company states about products, capabilities, brands and contacts; do not rewrite those statements as independent verification.
- Use registry aggregations, commercial platforms and announcement mirrors as secondary sources and label them accurately.
- When a higher-quality original source is available, do not cite only a lower-quality copy.
Information language
Preferred wording includes: listed by, published by, shown on, stated in, publicly associated with, different public records were found, not found in the sources reviewed, the scope is not explained, and order-specific confirmation is required.
Use of AI
AI may assist with classification, comparison, drafting and consistency checks. It does not replace source review, legal-entity analysis or final human review. AI-generated inference is not published as fact.
