How to Record Product Certificate Scope Without Overclaiming
A document should be matched to the quoted legal entity, model, factory, destination-market version and date before it is used to support an order decision.

1. Record the document as shown
Do not merge holder, applicant, manufacturer, factory or model fields merely because the names look related.

3. Keep the conclusion within scope
- Certificate exists does not mean the quoted model is covered.
- Model name appears does not mean every production variant is covered.
- Company name appears does not prove the website, quotation, factory and contract use the same legal entity.
- Document supplied does not confirm authenticity, current validity or destination-market suitability without the appropriate review.
The correct outcome for this illustrative record is scope needs confirmation, not “certificate verified.”
